Yes, You can solve this company’s communication issues (without being a communication expert!)

Solve problems

Not long ago, I was engaged to run a training program with a logistics company. I worked with the telesales team, and one big problem they have is a communication breakdown between the managers and the executives.

The employee opinion survey shows that the morale of the team is all-time low. All the managers were threatened.

The department head even commented “If this does not improve, somebody has to go.

If you are one of the managers of this department, what will you do to improve the communication between you and your team members?

The reason I’m sharing this with you is because you can help this team of managers solve their problems.

Yes, you can solve their problems without knowing the causes of the breakdown, without knowing every one in the team, and even without being a communication specialist.

Is that possible?

In just a short 20-minute session with the department head, we came up with 7 powerful strategies that can improve communication and rebuild the teamwork and camaraderie between the managers and the executives.

I did not come up with the strategies. I do not know what causes the communication breakdown. I don’t even know every team member and how they communicate daily at work.

So what did I do?

I use a very powerful questioning technique that help the department head to solve his own problems.

And this is what I call “Solution Focus Technique

I ask a set of specific questions that draws a person out of his problem focused zone and place him in an arena that makes him resourceful and focused on finding solutions to the problems himself.

This is also the technique that leaders and managers of huge organizations are learning in the Solution Focused training programs I conducted. After learning the techniques, they know how to use the techniques to help their team members overcome any problems they have, and even build a solution focused culture in the workplace!
