Important lesson from the great Angkor Wat

I was in Siem Reap, Cambodia in March this year to conduct a 4-day teambuilding program for an Asia Pacific meeting for our client. During this time, I also had the chance to visit Angkor Wat, the famous temple in Siem Reap. The Angkor Wat, which is the 7th Wonder of the World, took a long 37 years to build.

As I toured this magnificent temple, I observed closely the artistic carvings on the walls. I was amazed by the attention they put into making beautiful art carved out of hard stone. Remember that Angkor Wat is built in the 12th century when advanced technology was probably non-existent then. It was simply constructed by using elephants, dragging stone pieces and was built from the top down. Stone by stone, layer by layer.

I have recorded a short video to share an important business lesson that I learned my from tour of the Angkor Wat. Enjoy!
